Jane Nelsen

Dr. Jane Nelsen is the founder of Positive Discipline and a pioneer in parenting education. 

Her PhD in Educational Psychology is secondary to the education and experience she achieved from her successes and failures as a mother of seven children. She is author or co-author of 18 books. 

Dr. Jane Nelsen is the author of the Positive Discipline Series and co-founder of a worldwide movement, through the Positive Discipline Association, that has certified thousands of Positive Discipline Facilitators in over 80 countries.

She believes that Positive Discipline is an effective method to stop power struggles, build communication, and raise empowered, capable kids.
